Gerard Bertrand Cote Des Roses Wine 750 ml

This Cote des Roses cuvée celebrates the Mediterranean Art of Living. Its Languedoc appellation extends along the Mediterranean coast, from the Spanish border to Nîmes, leaning on the foothills of the Montagne Noire and the Cévennes. The soil, very varied, is mainly composed of hard limestone from the garrigues, schist soils but also gravels brought by the rivers of Languedoc. The climate, hot and windy ("semi-arid Mediterranean climate with a mild winter variant") promotes the ripening of the grapes and their good health, while retaining freshness thanks to the altitude and the sea effect, which mitigates high summer temperatures.
Its bottle is unique with its rose-shaped bottom, created by a young designer from the Ecole Boulle. It is a wine that offers itself like a bouquet of roses.
